AOL is offering a tech-driven do-it-yourself native ad option for mobile that allows advertisers to do their own creative work and achieve a customized look for ads appearing across its properties, including Huffington Post, AOL.com, TechCrunch, Engadget, DailyFinance and Autoblog. Fifty brands have already joined, and AOL says initial trials revealed a click-thru rate that is six times than that of mobile banner ads.
