Colo. high school implements advanced placement for all

Officials at a high school in Colorado have taken steps to increase student access to rigorous academic work. School leaders adopted a three-year plan to expand advanced-placement courses. Under the school's "AP for all" plan, all students are enrolled in AP English and next year all students will take AP social studies. "We think with AP, they'll be much better suited to be positive, contributing members of whatever community they end up in because they know how to persevere and show some grit when things get rough," principal Ryan Frink said.
