Device tax is a "disincentive to startups," senator says

During a visit Tuesday to Novocure's facility in Portsmouth, N.H., Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., decried the 2.3% medical device tax, calling it "onerous" and "a disincentive to startups." Ayotte, who is co-sponsoring a bill that would strike down the tax, said she expects the measure to go to a Senate floor vote soon.
