Facebook is demonstrating its utility to journalists with a public page called Newswire that features breaking news around the world based on verified user posts. The company will also buy Helsinki-based creator of Moves, an application that tracks physical activity and intuitively categorizes it. Both announcements come amid a 2% drop in mobile gaming revenue for Facebook in Q1 from the quarter prior, and an 11% drop year-over-year.
