Fishing projects at the University of Maine receive grants

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has awarded more than $850,000 in grants to three University of Maine researchers to fund projects related to the fishing industry. Some of the research includes studying the effect of rising ocean temperatures on lobster in southern New England, and where and when cod and cusk are likely to be caught in lobster traps.
