Heineken-owned brand tests tequila beer in Southern markets

Heineken-owned beer brand Desperados has brought its tequila-flavored beer to Georgia and Florida ahead of a national launch in 2015, with a new ad campaign targeting younger drinkers. An "At Dusk, We Rise" campaign with TV, digital and out-of-home ads focuses on dancing and parties for millennials. "We are trying to deliver on that high-energy, nightlife type of scene," said Desperados Brand Manager Raul Esquer.
