Ice cream season lifts sales for Unilever

Unilever's food arm reported a 5.9% increase in ice cream and refreshment sales for the three months ending in March following a "very good start to the ice cream season in Europe," the company said. A later Easter accounted for a 1.7% drop in the company's year-on-year food business sales, but underlying sales were up 3.6% for the whole group.
