For more smartphone buyers, the price must be right

An increasing number of consumers are considering price as a major factor in deciding which smartphones to buy, according to a J.D. Power Associates study. The research firm said its latest Smartphone Satisfaction Study found about 20% of respondents cited price as a primary reason in choosing a phone compared with 13% in 2011. While 57% named "features" as their main concern three years ago, only 35% did so in the latest study.
