Pa. middle school uses fantasy baseball to teach math

A middle school in Pennsylvania is using a fantasy baseball game to teach students math concepts. Students calculate fractions and percentages using baseball statistics on such things as home runs and batting averages. The calculations then are used to develop circle graphs about each player. "It really does teach us math skills, and I'm getting to learn about baseball at the same time," student Jared Roskin said.
