Small distributors can succeed with nimbleness and service

Smaller distributors can't match all the features of AmazonSupply, but they can use their size as a strength in terms of quick response, customer service and a lack of bureaucracy, says Bill Burnett, founder and CEO of PointDrive. "The fact that a smaller distributor has fewer departments and employees can actually be a good thing when managing customers, orders, requests, and even complaints," he says.
