SUPERVALU reports same-store sales increase for most recent quarter

SUPERVALU reported $3.95 billion in sales for the fiscal fourth quarter ending Feb. 22, a 1.4% increase from the same period a year earlier. "We think Supervalu has performed extremely well in its transition year under Sam Duncan and the leadership team," wrote Ajay Jain, a Cantor Fitzgerald stock analyst.
