U.K. government-industry funding to create jobs in auto supply chain

Projects to introduce Formula One technology into vehicles will receive money from a joint U.K. government-industry fund that amounts to about $1.679 billion and will be administered by the Advanced Propulsion Center. The fund will be used to bolster 30,000 jobs and create "many more" in the automotive supply chain, Business Secretary Vince Cable said.
