Wyndham executive says refreshed brands will boost growth

Wyndham Hotel Group is betting that refreshed brands will help boost the company's growth. The company's Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham, Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham and Wingate by Wyndham brands recently introduced new prototypes. "While we're best known for our powerhouse economy brands, there are other brands in our portfolio that have huge potential," Chairman Stephen Holmes said during the company's first-quarter earnings call. He also noted the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts flagship brand is posting strong growth.
