Senator presses for investigation in Medicare fraud settlement

The chairman of the Senate Finance Committee said he is not satisfied with information surrounding a settlement between the federal government and HCA concerning Medicare fraud. HCA agreed to pay $631 million to settle charges of inflated billing, but Sen. Charles Grassley believes the deal may shortchange taxpayers.
