Boeing, prosecutors reach agreement, report says

Boeing has reached a preliminary agreement with federal prosecutors to settle two criminal investigations, the Wall Street Journal reports, quoting unnamed sources. The company would admit wrongdoing under a deferred prosecution agreement. The settlement would resolve allegations that Boeing acquired Lockheed Martin proprietary documents and illegally recruited a senior U.S. Air Force acquisition official. A Boeing spokesman said the company is involved in constructive negotiations.
