Report: Finnish schools lag Nordic peers in use of IT

Finland trails its Nordic neighbors in giving students access to laptops, utilizing high-tech cameras and using processing and office software, finds the E-learning Nordic 2006 study. The study also found that although two-thirds of teachers in Finland, Sweden Norway and Denmark report being trained in computer use, only one-third of teachers in those countries felt competent in using IT in their teaching.
