Study: Blacks have less trust in health care providers

A study of 432 blacks and 522 whites found that blacks were significantly more likely than whites to have a lack of trust in health care providers. The study found low levels of trust among nearly 45% of blacks, compared to 33.5% of whites, and the lowest level of trust was reported among blacks who usually received care somewhere other than a doctor's office.
