Florida districts consider response to class-size law

Florida districts are considering whether to comply with a state law restricting class sizes that could be overturned by a voter referendum in November. Complying with the class-size law would force districts to hire enough teachers to comply but would lead to cuts in other areas. The other option is that districts ignore the law in the hope that it is overturned, but they face the potential of millions of dollars in fines.
