Goldman case could draw attention to fiduciary duty

Investment advisory groups hope the publicity surrounding the Securities and Exchange Commission's fraud case against Goldman Sachs will help turn attention and sentiment toward including fiduciary-duty regulations in financial-overhaul legislation working its way through the Senate. The Financial Planning Coalition and other groups are trying to drum up support for the issue as senators seem focused on other parts of the bill.
