SBA investigation targeted a small number of loans

The Small Business Administration's report on loan weakness was limited to a small portion of the 504 program dominated by premier certified lenders, which make up less than 10% of development companies, Robb Mandelbaum reports. The SBA investigation may highlight some problems in the system, but concerns are overblown, he says.
