Brazilian carrier TAM monitors possible sale of Portugal's TAP

TAM CEO Marco Antonio Bologna said the Brazilian airline is "tracking" the possible sale of Portugal's state-owned airline, TAP Portugal. However, before TAM can try to buy TAP, it must settle a $3.9 billion buyout offer from Chile's LAN Airlines. That matter is awaiting approval from Chile's antitrust tribunal.
