Experts preview today's Supreme Court argument in Sorrell v. IMS Health Inc.

Experts from Reed Elsevier and Wolters Kluwer join the Coalition's Executive Director John Kamp in explaining why today's oral arguments before the U.S. Supreme Court in Sorrell v. IMS Health Inc. matter to patients, clients and health marketing agencies. The Supreme Court will decide whether the First Amendment protects the collection and marketing use of physician prescribing data, which could directly affect data gathering companies, the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, advertising agencies, medical publishers and other media. "The tenor and direction of the Justices' questions during oral arguments will give clues to the decision, which is expected in June," Kamp said. Read more.
