Prevention, lifestyle are key to reducing heart disease deaths

Public health officials and the American Heart Association say prevention and lifestyle and policy changes are key to the HHS' Healthy People 2020 goals of reducing deaths from heart disease and stroke. The AHA has created a "Life's Simple 7" list of recommendations, including exercise and better nutrition, that will help people achieve cardiovascular health.
