When you send your resume to a large company, there's usually not an actual person ready to read it on the receiving end, Harry Urschel writes. An applicant tracking system will likely put it into a database, where it will sit until a hiring manager searches the database using keywords. To help your resume gets picked, use terminology from the company's job description instead of your own, Urschel suggests.
