National Walk @ Lunch Day emphasizes importance of exercise

Today is the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association's annual National Walk @ Lunch Day, with people encouraged to take a half-hour walk to emphasize the importance of being active. Experts say that while a 30-minute daily walk may not promote weight loss, it does benefit health, including improved mood, sleep and cardiovascular health measures.
