Online advertising is booming in Canada

Canadian online-advertising spending will swell to $3.11 billion in 2012, an increase of 16.3% from last year's total, according to eMarketer. Growth is expected to continue through 2016, when digital spending will likely hit $4.55 billion and account for almost three-tenths of total Canadian ad spending.
