Vevo's slate relates music to larger youth lifestyle

The YouTube-based Vevo network showed off six scripted and unscripted shows at its "newfront" presentation. "Busk or Bust," a street performance reality show, and "Hear Me Out," a music-taste-based dating game, are among the offerings. The channel is best known for showing music videos, but says is not abandoning music but "branching out into lifestyle genres that have a connection to music, like fashion, gaming, sports and travel," says Vevo's David Kohl.
