Cloud skills often are lacking in enterprise IT departments, Toby Wolpe writes. As Lotus F1's Graeme Hackland says, "Developers ... don't think a lot about security and the security of that data or that application [for an in-house application]. That has been the major difference between things we put on-premise only and the things we're going to put in the cloud. The developers are going to have to take into account the integrity and the security of that data. There are probably lots of other [skills issues] but that's the thing that immediately jumps to mind for me. It's a different skillset -- or a different thinking at least -- for the developers as we make that transition."
