Contract with actors includes Ad-ID tag mandate

A deal between unions representing commercial actors and the ad industry's Joint Policy Committee includes a provision under which all video and audio commercials with SAG-AFTRA talent will be registered with Ad-ID, a tagging system favored by the 4A's and the Association of National Advertisers. The deal, which still must be approved by the unions' members, also includes a 6% average increase in wages and payments to actors.
