Flying Magazine: Is the era of the niche jet over?

Flying magazine editor in chief Robert Goyer writes that Cessna led the industry when it came to creating niche jets. However, now that the company announced it was planning to shut down portions of its light jet production line, Goyer ponders whether the era of the niche jet is over. "There is probably more thinning to be expected, as the market remains soft for any bizjets through midsize models," he writes.
