Retailers turn to video to keep in-store experience fresh

Retailers are finding new ways to use video in the stores to draw shoppers in -- from Hollister, which offers shoppers at its New York City flagship a live feed from Huntington Beach, Calif., to Harrods, which uses in-window video to grab the attention of passersby, then goes transparent to reveal the styles behind the screen. In-store video is an increasingly powerful tool that stores need to embrace as digital continues to change the nature of modern retail, writes PlayNetwork's Dharmendra Patel.
