"Selling is a communication skill, and like any communication skill, it can always be improved," said Wendy Weiss, president of ColdCallingResults.com. Before a meeting starts, it's a good idea for salespeople to review their notes. "Outside sales reps should have already done considerable research on the prospect they are about to meet," Weiss said.
