Florida Court Allows Class-Size Amendment On Ballot

The Florida Supreme Court yesterday cleared the way for an amendment to be placed on the November ballot that would require the state to pay billions to decrease class sizes. Supporters need 488,000 signatures to have it put on the ballot. Skeptics say the state can't afford the estimated $10 billion needed for new teachers and classrooms.
