Asia tourism rebounding, but travelers still wary, study finds

Most of the damage from the 2004 tsunami has been repaired, but 78% of respondents in a new study said they believe Thailand is still severely affected by the disaster. Though tourism in Asia is once again making gains, those and other misconceptions about bird flu and terrorism may be hampering its growth, according to the Pacific Asia Travel Association and Visa International Asia Pacific.
