N.J. ruling opens door for spouse asbestos suits

The New Jersey Supreme Court has ruled that a landowner can be sued for injuries allegedly caused by exposure to asbestos. The ruling opens the way for a former Exxon Mobil employee to seek damages from the company for the death of his wife, who he says died of mesothelioma after coming in contact with asbestos while washing his work clothes.
