America's corporate culture is becoming increasingly eco-friendly, according to many experts. They cite increased consumer demand for green products -- before the recession -- and note that such demand spurs companies to go beyond "greenwashing" and make a serious effort to embrace sustainable-business practices. "Most big companies have been taking significant steps," says one green-business consultant. "The fact is, they're doing it for all the right business reasons."
