Dunkin' Donuts returns to Russia with Moscow store

Dunkin' Donuts will open a Moscow location this week, marking its return to Russia after an 11-year absence. The chain's plans call for 20 stores in the Russian city this year, as it ramps up to compete against Starbucks, which operates 31 stores in Russia. Coffee sales in Russia have increased greatly from $13 million in 1999 -- the year Dunkin' ended its first foray into the country -- to $575 million last year.
