Final shift from IPv4 to IPv6 will come next year

As IPv4 domains dribble to lower numbers each day, and demand in emerging countries increases, Internet policy groups and organizations have prepared for the day when there won't be any IPv4 addresses to dole out. American Registry for Internet Numbers, or ARIN, predicts that at the current rate, it will start denying IPv4 requests some time between the middle to end of 2011.
