Florida airport considers adding U.S. Customs

The Florida Keys Marathon Airport could introduce U.S. Customs clearance procedures for international travelers. The airport must apply to become a "user-fee" airport in order to clear vessels and aircraft through customs. Monroe County owns the airport, and it recently constructed a building that could house customs operations.
