Report: Health care law will increase costs overall

Chief Medicare Actuary Richard Foster sent a report to Congress that says the new health care law will increase national health spending overall by almost 1% because of an expansion of services to the uninsured. The report said the government will spend $828 billion to expand insurance coverage in the next decade, with about half of the money going to expand Medicaid.
