Chile's Falabella plans to bolster investment

SACI Falabella, the largest department store chain in Chile, plans to invest $3.5 billion over the next few years to expand its presence in Latin America, according to CEO Juan Benavides. The company has more than 200 stores in Chile, Colombia, Peru and Argentina. It also owns an almost 60% holding in Mall Plaza, which operates several shopping centres.
