Report: There's a need to focus more on molecular radiotherapy

There is a need to undertake more studies and allot more funding in order for molecular radiotherapy to advance as a cancer treatment, according to a report from the British Institute of Radiology. The development of new pharmaceuticals, as well as improvements in quantitative imaging and radiation dosimetry, can lead to more applications for this method, according to the report.
