JetBlue Airways boosts capacity, profit for Q1

JetBlue Airways posted a profit of $30 million for its first quarter, compared with a profit of $3 million in the same quarter last year. First-quarter revenue increased 19% on a year-over-year basis on a capacity boost of 12%. "Despite an uncertain economic environment, we delivered record revenue performance and fully offset the increase in fuel costs with higher revenues," said CEO Dave Barger.
