Research examines the value of authenticity at work

Nearly two-thirds of people admit to lying about themselves to co-workers, according to research by the University of Houston and the University of Greenwich in London. "If you’re at work and you’re not expressing yourself -- not authentic to yourself -- you’re in jolly good company. ... It’s really normal and doesn’t have an adverse relationship to quality of life," the University of Greenwich's Oliver Robinson said.
