S.C. lawmakers vote to fund cancer tests, care

The South Carolina House on Wednesday approved a bill allowing the use of $2.5 million in state cigarette tax funds for screening and treatment of breast and colorectal cancers. The money along with another $2.5 million currently goes toward smoking-cessation and prevention programs.
