UGI reports 11% dip in quarterly earnings due to weak demand

UGI said profits dipped during its fiscal second quarter because demand for heating gas was weak as a result of the unusually warm winter. The company reported a net income of $133.4 million, 11% lower than last year's $149.4 million during the same period.
