Audit exposes weaknesses in Md. government computer networks

A Maryland government audit has uncovered vulnerabilities in five Internet servers that could leave them open to cyber-intrusion. According to the legislative audit, a malicious infiltration of the servers -- which haven't been updated in more than five years -- could knock more than 30 state agencies offline or send users to dangerous websites.
