Illinois politicos brace for anti-gay onslaught

Politics in Illinois could get "brutal" with a push by anti-gay activists to get a question on the statewide ballot designed to inject the question of marriage rights for gays and lesbians into the political season. "I'm anticipating three to four months of outrageous, disgusting anti-gay rhetoric and harassment," said Equality Illinois head Rick Garcia.
