More British theaters offering captioned performances

Theater captioners rely on special equipment, extensive preparation and superb timing to translate actors' words, sound effects and other essential elements into captions for people with impaired hearing. "If you put it up too late, then the deaf audience is laughing after everyone else has finished," says captioner Roz Chalmers.
