Researchers target hidden salt in diets

With about 70% of the sodium in American diets coming from processed foods, people who are trying to cut back on sodium might consume more than they think. Researchers asked people with heart failure to write down everything they ate for three days, and found that their sodium intake was higher than recommended, even though they were putting less salt on food.
